Would you like to have a conformal coating applied, a protective layer that is (selectively) applied to an electronic control system to protect it from external environmental influences, such as moisture? We can do this for you by spraying, dipping, or pouring. This will extend the life of an electronic control system and improve its operational reliability.
CONFORMAL COATING OR CASTING?
Due to the miniaturization of electronic components and the growing number of applications for electronic controls, protecting these controls is becoming increasingly important. In addition to conformal coating, you can also opt for potting. This reduces field failures, extends service life, and increases reliability. There is a difference between these two treatments:
A correctly applied conformal coating protects the PCBA against humid air, fuel, oil, corrosive vapors, and other contaminants.
A molded electronic control unit also offers extra protection against mechanical forces, such as vibrations.
