Measuring systems

IMPACT ON THE PRODUCTION OF PCBAS FOR MEASURING SYSTEMS
Global Electronics B.V. is not only a manufacturer of industrial measurement and control systems, but also of zero-flux current measurement systems. This special measurement method makes it possible to measure (large) electrical currents without contact, with an accuracy of up to one millionth of the measured value.
With the zero-flux current measurement principle, you benefit from extremely high measurement accuracy for both alternating and direct currents. This method is particularly suitable for scientific applications, where the need for extremely accurate current measurement is high.
This measurement system is used in the LHC particle accelerator in Geneva, as well as in nuclear research programs for nuclear fusion and applied scientific research. Consider, for example, the (direct) current cable between the Netherlands and Norway. The power supplied here is determined by measuring the electric current at high voltages. Very high accuracy and reliability are required here. We can deliver that.
The measurement principle is also applied in the production of manufacturing machines for the semiconductor industry. Finally, our PCBA's are also used in products for the defense industry.
When manufacturing PCBA's for these applications, standards are tightened even further to ensure that the end product will be and remain safe, reliable, and highly accurate.
High-voltage PCBA design
Not every PCBA design requires such strict rules. Generally speaking, this only applies if the normal operating voltage of your product reaches or exceeds 30 VAC or 60 VDC. If your circuit board reaches these voltages or has a high density, you will need special high-voltage PCBA.
When manufacturing high-voltage PCBA, it is important to pay attention to the distance between the conductive elements on your printed circuit board. Any potential difference between conductive elements on a printed circuit board poses a risk to both the product and your users. An experienced PCBA partner with expertise in this area can make all the difference. We would be happy to be that partner for you.
