Impact on flight safety

The aerospace industry is a sector that requires more robust printed circuit boards than those needed for average everyday electronics. The components used in aircraft, space shuttles, satellites, and control towers must remain reliable under extreme conditions. They are exposed to a number of unusual conditions that would overload standard PCBA's. And if these essential components fail, the results can be disastrous.

That is why Global Electronics B.V. takes extreme precautions and uses extra sustainable materials when it comes to aerospace, but also in defense applications. It is therefore our goal to contribute to making aerospace safer.

Not a standard printed circuit board

In general, printed circuit boards do not usually need to be resistant to extreme temperatures or radiation. When it comes to printed circuit boards for the aerospace industry, however, they need to be able to withstand much more.

Without circuit boards specially designed for space travel, we would never have been able to explore space or send satellites into orbit around the Earth.

Global Electronics B.V. continues to develop the latest methods to make PCBA's more versatile, robust, and reliable, so that aerospace PCBA's require less maintenance and operate even more efficiently. Although a PCBA is only a small component in aerospace, it is an indispensable one.
