Quoting

A GOOD QUOTE IS GOOD THE FIRST TIME AROUND‍

We understand how important it is to provide an accurate quote. Due to the large amount of data and details involved, there is always a risk of errors. We prevent this by starting with a BOM analysis to map out the material costs. We use our own software for this, which enables us to quote the right quantities at the lowest price. In addition, when choosing suppliers, you will not only have to take price into account, but also the timely availability of components.

Save time and avoid surprises

Being able to provide a quote quickly saves valuable time. The quality of the quote prevents any surprises later on. It is therefore important that the data is correct and that opportunities to reduce purchasing costs are critically examined. Based on the choice of components, we can connect the right supplier in our network for this purpose.

The process

- Determine material costs (BOM analysis and data analysis)

Before finalizing your design, have us check your BOM and design for manufacturability.

- Production cost analysis

Using specialized software, we can perform a quick and clear production cost analysis. This involves dissecting and analyzing the total BOM and data package.

- Supplier selection

Price and the ability for us to hold stock (on demand) play a role in this choice. In this process, it is also important that the supplier has the necessary (ISO) quality certificates.

More insight for you

Would you like more insight into the manufacturability and availability of the components for your product? We are happy to assist you, for example by:

- DFT (design for testing)
- DFM (design for manufacturing)
- DFx (design for excellence) for early involvement of suppliers
- BOM analysis using smart software tools (Quote Architect / BOM Architect)
- Lifetime management of components

Avoid obsolete materials through smart purchasing

Smart purchasing starts with providing good data, creating parts lists with MFG part numbers, and converting them to our ERP system. It is often the case that people purchase more than is necessary. We try to prevent surplus materials as much as possible by determining the most economical order quantity for the best price. Our specialized software is capable of applying an optimized minimum order quantity (MOQ) and economic order quantity (EOQ), which means that obsolete materials are rarely, if ever, an issue.

Our ERP system uses specialized software to reserve components in good time so that they can be placed on call with us or our suppliers. This ensures short delivery times and competitive purchase prices, significantly reducing time-to-market.
